The Museums vision statement states that we wish to “promote responsible use and enjoyment of the natural world.” The Museum is also registered IS014001 (Environmental Management).
The Museum is also required to comply with the Government’s Sustainable and Legal Timber Procurement Policy. Therefore the Museum requires that all wooden items are either FSC certified (or equivalent) or recycled material.
